Rotations will be cancelled for physicians-in-training who have not been vaccinated or who do not submit the required documentation in VSLO.

FLU VACCINE REQUIREMENT DETAILS:

All students, physicians and staff at Loyola University Medical Center are required to be vaccinated for the seasonal flu. It is mandatory for all visiting students participating in electives at Loyola (and affiliated sites) to show proof of seasonal flu vaccination, beginning with the November elective rotations.

You will not be allowed to participate in your scheduled elective unless you are vaccinated and will be required to show proof of your seasonal flu vaccine before you can begin your elective. Please provide the documentation of your vaccination to your elective coordinator upon arrival at your elective service.
