Hello! My name is Maria Dominguez Gonzalez, and I'm here to tell you about my Arrupe College experience.
What is your degree and how/why did you select your degree?
Social Behavioral Science with a minor in Psychology. I realized that it was the best path for me and my future goals.
What is some advice you would give an incoming freshman?
I would advice that students should go to the events that are going on. Creating a great group of friendship that you can lean on. Creating great study habits and never shying away from asking for help.
What professor should a new student absolutely take a class with and why?
Dr. Cochran is a professor who will teach the multiple ways of being able to help you become a better writer. Dr. Tarantino is a professor who will find many interesting ways in which to teach such a hard topic, like philosophy. I will say that all the teachers here are amazing and have their own unique ways of teaching.
What is a moment where you felt like you belonged at Arrupe?
I knew that the moment I came to the realization was when I was struggling, and I had a high number of staff members that I knew that I could count on.
