In the heart of the city

Arrupe College is conveniently at Loyola’s Water Tower campus. Students have access to academic and social resources at Loyola's Water Tower Campus and beautiful Lake Shore Campus. Arrupe students come from all different neighborhoods in Chicago and surrounding suburbs and able to easily access our campus through the Chicago Red Line and a variety of bus routes.

The Support System

Student support is a hallmark of the Arrupe College education model, and there are numerous resources available for student success. In addition to specific Arrupe College programming, students also have access to Loyola University Chicago facilities, activities, and services. Plus, we offer holistic support services: from a meal program that provides breakfast and lunch to personal, one-on-one advising on everything from financial aid to choosing a program of study.

Life at Arrupe

Arrupe College helps build and foster community by planning social, spiritual, and cultural programs to enhance the student experience. The Student Government of Arrupe College, Student Organizations, and the Office of Student Services each plan events, including dances, cultural read-ins, movie nights, and open mic events. Arrupe students also gain access to academic and social resources at Loyola's centrally located Water Tower Campus and beautiful Lake Shore Campus.

Academic life

The educational experience includes extensive one-on-one contact with experienced, full-time faculty. Faculty and staff receive specialized training to ensure that all members of the Arrupe community share common goals and values. Students who complete the program graduate with an associate's degree, and their credits are transferable to most Illinois institutions and many out-of-state colleges and universities.
