Founder & Managing Partner, Aim & Arrow

Eli Cole co-teaches Leadership Effectiveness for the Baumhart Scholars MBA. Eli is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Aim & Arrow Group, a Consulting Firm focused on leadership and strategy in the social impact sector.  Since 2012, she has conducted organizational and cross-sector engagements to define, measure, and scale big ideas with high impact potential.

This work has included growth and business planning with A Better Chicago grantees; building public-private partnerships with Chicago Public Schools in financial education, the arts, and literacy; and collaborative projects to diversify the orchestral music training pipeline, strengthen relationships between early childhood and K-12 leaders, and engage across sectors to launch Chicago’s universal preschool and universal perinatal home visiting efforts. Eli is also an Adjunct Lecturer, teaching nonprofit management courses for undergraduates at Northwestern University.

From 2008-2012, Eli oversaw $40 million in annual grants to over 250 health and human service agencies as VP of Community Investments at United Way of Metropolitan Chicago. Prior to that, she spent ten years at YWCA of Metropolitan Chicago, advancing economic empowerment and racial justice across a 6-county footprint.

Eli has served on the boards of the Apollo Chorus of Chicago, Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation, and Center for New Community.
