Reporting for Impact is a half-day professional development program designed to help leaders strengthen their understanding of sustainability and impact reporting—and use data more effectively to communicate social and environmental impact.

Through practical guidance, real-world examples and insights from experienced practitioners, participants explore reporting frameworks, evolving expectations, cross-functional data collection and strategies for translating impact data into credible, compelling communication.

The program introduces reporting essentials, from frameworks and regulations to practical applications, while giving participants opportunities to learn from industry leaders and examine real-world examples.

  • Explore widely used reporting frameworks and tools, including GRI, SASB and TCFD.
  • Build an understanding of the evolving regulatory landscape and the shift from voluntary to mandatory reporting requirements.
  • Learn how to build and coordinate cross-functional teams for comprehensive impact data collection, communication and assurance readiness.
  • Analyze examples of effective and ineffective purpose-driven and data-driven communication, including materiality assessments and sustainability reports.
  • Engage with practitioners working at the forefront of social and environmental impact and reporting.
  • Participants completing the program receive a certificate of completion in Reporting for Impact Essentials.
