Stephanie Truax

Chief Development Officer, Embarc

Inspired by a year of service with AmeriCorps, Stephanie has spent the last 20 years helping renowned global, national, and regional nonprofits achieve financial sustainability. She is currently the Chief Development Officer for Embarc, which has tripled its revenue since she joined in 2018. 

Stephanie earned her bachelor's degree in English from Michigan State University and a master's degree in public policy from King's College London. Her experience includes roles at The Partnership for a Healthier America, Lincoln Park Zoo, World Wildlife Fund, Feeding America, and United Way. Stephanie lives in Chicago and most enjoys exploring nature with her toddler.
