Kathi Wunderli-Bastian

Kathi Wunderli-Bastian is a Vice President, Branch Leader for Fidelity Investments’ Naperville Investor Center. Fidelity is a leading provider of investment management, retirement planning, portfolio guidance, brokerage, benefits outsourcing and other financial products and services to more than 27 million individuals, institutions and financial intermediaries.  In her role, Kathi is responsible for leading a team of world class financial professionals in the Naperville office. She partners with these associates to ensure Fidelity’s clients receive in depth financial planning, are educated on Fidelity’s full breadth of offerings, and are engaged in new ways to help them reach their long term financial goals.

Throughout her career with Fidelity, Kathi has taken on roles that allow her to coach and educate Fidelity’s most valuable resource: their representatives. From leading phone and branch teams as a manager, to facilitating classes for newly hired and recently promoted associates, Kathrine has an unwavering commitment  to leverage her expertise and experiences to create a positive impact on the lives of others.  This commitment has earned her a reputation of someone that is fully invested in the success of her teams, and genuinely cares about those she works with.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Kathi was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, as an Aeromedical Technician, from 2002 through 2008. In her role, she was responsible for leading a team of other flight medics to triage, treat, and transport wounded soldiers from conflict zones to treatment facilities in neutral zones or back to the U.S.. 

Kathi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Business Studies from Southern New Hampshire University. She received her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, after completing the coursework through Northwestern University and succesffully passing the required exam. She holds FINRA Series, 7, 66, 9 and 10 registrations, as well as state life, health, and accident insurance licenses.  She is a member Delta Mu Delta, the International Honor Society in Business, and has been involved in a number of Women’s and Veteran’s networking groups in her local communities.
