Department of Energy CyberForce Competition - Loyola ranks in top 30

A group of students, coached by Dr. Chan-Tin, participated in the Department of Energy CyberForce Competition on November 4 - November 5, 2022. The team scored almost 7,000 points and ranked in the top 30, out of over 150 universities!

The research proposal "Toward Safer Online Experiences for LGBTQ+ Communities" submitted by Yas Silva in collaboration with Deborah Hall from Arizona State University, was selected to receive a Google research grant.
