Loyola University Chicago

Dual Credit Program

Classrooms

As part of Loyola's Dual Credit program, our high school partners offer a high-quality Loyola education in select classes. This is a college-level curriculum in a high school classroom. To ensure that the quality of the curriculum and the amount of work required accurately reflects a college-level course, high school instructors will work with an assigned Loyola faculty member who will provide feedback and assistance.

As a dual credit student, although still in high school, you are beginning your official college transcript, regardless of where you attend college in the future. Grades earned in dual credit courses will be part of the your records throughout your college career. It is important to consider your readiness to enroll in and successfully complete dual credit courses. You should be especially aware of drop dates and procedures to avoid a transcript with a negative grade.
