If you add a Preferred Name in LOCUS, it will display in place of your Primary Name at the top of most of the pages students can access.  Below is a detailed list of all of the pages which will display your Preferred Name.

Please take special note of the Campus Finances pages with regard to Parent/Guest Access.  If you have given Parent/Guest access to Campus Finances pages, Preferred Name will be visible to any parent/guest that you have designated.  Of particular note:  Preferred Name displays on the ‘Make a Payment’ page, which can be accessed from ‘View my e-Bill’.

  • The bill displays Primary Name, but there is a button that will take you to the Make a Payment page which displays the Preferred Name.  If Parent/Guest access is given to View e-Bill, Preferred Name will be visible if the Make a Payment page is accessed.
