Amalfi

You’ll hike the breathtaking Path of the Gods and the Lemon Path

You have probably heard of the Amalfi Coast, UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997 and drawing over two million visitors each year, but while many travelers face crowds and logistical hurdles, Amalfi Discovery offers a different kind of experience: three days of immersive exploration in the nature and meaningful connections with the region’s history, people, and traditions. You’ll hike the legendary Path of the Gods with a local trekking guide and meet a shepherd above the clouds, then wind down at a family-run farm where we’ll cook scialatielli pasta together and watch fresh mozzarella being made.

Positano, once a quiet fishing village and now a world-famous destination, is our next stop followed by a visit to the enchanting Emerald Grotto, through ancient stalactites and stalagmites and where sunlight creates a magnificent illusion in the water. In Amalfi, you’ll explore the stunning cathedral and stroll through its winding streets before visiting the Paper Museum to learn about the town’s old tradition of paper, that is still used by the Vatican for official documents. The evening is the time to gather for a festive dinner at a traditional agriturismo, a countryside farm offering authentic meals and warm hospitality. Last, we’ll dive into the world of lemons, walking the scenic Lemon Path between Maiori and Minori, tasting local limoncello and lemon-based products at a family farm, enjoying a lunch and ending the journey with some well-earned beach time in Minori.
