FRIDAY, MARCH 14                           

Movie Screening: Gravity                                                                                                                                                             8pm & 10pm
Dr. Ryan Stone is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone - tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness.
 
Student Battle of the Bands
Gentile Arena
Doors at 7pm, Show at 8pm
Join your fellow student musical acts in a "Battle of the Bands" hosted by ((dop)). Student performance acts can start to sign up with ((dop)) NOW for a chance to perform in Gentile Arena with state of the art equipment, lighting, and sound. Winners will receive $1,000 in recording studio time. Votes will be gathered from the audience. This event is FREE! Pre-St. Patrick's Day "Breakfast at Night"

Following the Battle of the Bands in Gentile Arena, all students are welcome to attend the Damen Student Center's inaugural pre-St. Patrick's Day "Breakfast at Night" starting at 10PM in Ireland's.

Comedian Mike Birbiglia Show
Gentile Arena
Doors at 7:00pm, Opener at 8:00pm
Mike Birbiglia will grace the Gentile stage for a night of comedy as part of ((dop)) Colossus lineup. Birbiglia has starred in three Comedy Central specials and has released three albums with Comedy Central Records: Two Drink Mike (2006), My Secret Public Journal Live (2007), and Sleepwalk With Me Live (2011). My Secret Public Journal Live was named one of the best comedy albums of the decade by the Onion AV Club and Sleepwalk With Me Live debuted at #1 on the Billboard Magazine Comedy Charts. Tickets are currently on sale at the Damen Student Center Information Desk and on-line at www.luc.edu/colossus. Tickets are $10 each. 
 
School of Hard Rocks 3
LUC Breakers
Rambler Room
School of Hard Rocks III is a break dancing competition that brings together well respected members of the Hip-Hop community to judge local dancers as they move through competition brackets for a chance to win a grand prize. SASA Night                                                                                                                                                                         Copernicus Center in Chicago (off campus)
Members of the South Asian Student Alliance (SASA) will contribute to SASA Night 2014: a show encompassing South Asian Culture, music, dances, skits, and tradition. NCAA Tournament Selection Sunday/Conference Championships Brunch

Watch as many NCAA Men's Basketball Conference Championships crown their champions and the NCAA makes its official selections for the 2014 NCAA Tournament! The Damen Student Center will provide a brunch starting at 12:00pm and lasting until its GONE! We will have all of our big screens on featuring NCAA games all day. Make sure you stick around to see who's in and who's out of the NCAA Tournament. Start thinking of your brackets!
