Read the Fine Print: Contracts in Action
Hesitant to sign a sales agreement before consulting a lawyer? Ever stumbled while reading the fine print of a contract? Led by Patricia Lee, Clinical Professor, School of Law, and SCPS Paralegal Studies instructor Johanna Tracy, this hands-on workshop will cover the basics from both the transactional and litigation point of view.
Attendees will be introduced to the fundamentals of contract law and apply foundational knowledge to common professional scenarios. A panel led by Marie Harrigan, Director of the Institute of Paralegal Studies, and LUC alumni currently working as contract paralegals and attorneys will conclude the workshop.

What You'll Learn
Participants will learn the fundamentals of contract negotiation, transactional law, litigation law and how to apply them to scenarios involving business agreements, leases, risk management, intellectual property, and more.
