Wellness at Stritch

Stritch physicians-in-training learn how to care for the health and well-being of others.  During your training, it's also important to understand and attend to your health and well-being as a physician-in-training. In January 2023, the Health Sciences Campus opened a Wellness Center to provide students with programs and services geared to physical, emotional, and overall well-being.

WELLNESS IS MULTI-FACETED from personal to spiritual, academic, financial, and environmental health.  Through the Wellness Center, Ministry, ACE, the Student Wellness Committee, and other resources, Stritch is dedicated to helping each physician-in-training reach their full potential while providing support to help them care for themselves, each other, and the broader patient populations and communities they serve.

Stritch has several avenues for students to get involved in wellness initiatives.  Through SWAG (Student Wellness Advisory Group), you can coordinate and host events that incorporate multiple facets of wellness, including social, physical, intellectual, and environmental aspects.
