Hello! My name is Lala Gonzalez, and I'm here to tell you about my Arrupe College experience.
What does it mean to go to a Jesuit Institution?
Going to a Jesuit Institution means embracing a tradition of education that is deeply rooted in the teachings of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus. Jesuit education is characterized by its commitment to the liberal arts, critical thinking, and rigorous academic standards.
What is your degree and how/why did you select your degree?
Pre-Nursing, because I been studying CNA since high school and thinking keep studying to be a nurse.
What is a moment where you felt like you belonged at Arrupe?
When the people were so lovely and kind welcoming me to the campus.
What's the best thing you've done since coming to Arrupe?
Giving tours of our campus to local students. I love meeting new students who are interested in attending Arrupe.
What is some advice you would give an incoming freshman?
Study hard, focus more in class, and do all the homework on time (and get to class on time too)!
