How I chose my degree:
I am pursuing a degree in Finance because I want to understand how money, markets, and organizations work in the hopes of making smart and responsible decisions with resources.
My plans after graduation:
I will be continuing at Loyola University Chicago to study Finance.
What has been your most challenging class and how did it change you?
Accounting has been my most challenging class because it really pushed me to think in a more precise and disciplined way. At first, it was overwhelming, but it forced me to slow down, stay organized, and actually understand the “why” behind each step instead.
Where is your favorite place on Loyola's campus and why?
My favorite place on campus is the OSS second floor lounge because it’s a great way to meet and talk to new people. It also has a really comfortable and welcoming environment.
What is a moment where you felt like you belonged at Arrupe?
I felt like I belonged at Arrupe because of its tight-knit, inclusive community. The professors and deans are very understanding and supportive of whatever you’re going through. The environment genuinely feels welcoming and comforting, especially during moments when things aren’t going well.
What is some advice you would give an incoming freshman?
I would say do not stress about having everything figured out right away. Stay open to trying new things and get out of your comfort zone. Try to get involved early, manage your time well, and don’t be afraid to ask for help!
