Jaylinn Herrera
Associate, Baumhart Center
Jaylinn Herrera is a senior at Loyola University Chicago, studying Multimedia Journalism with minors in Political Science and Spanish. She has been part of the Baumhart Center since September 2020. Jaylinn works with Baumhart Scholars MBA program to promote their message and to inform audiences on their impacts. She does this through conducting interviews, producing media, and writing content for the website.
Her involvement through the Loyola community demonstrates her commitment to journalism and interest in law. Jaylinn served as a reporter and anchor for the Rambler Sports Locker covering Loyola’s sports news. She is also a member of Moot Court and the Pre-Law Society, with the vision that more diversity in the system can create a more just world. In addition, she is passionate about social justice especially human and environmental rights. She believes everyone is capable of creating social impacts as she has through her volunteer work such as her role as a child-care worker and tutor for refugee children.
As an associate she is dedicated to upholding the Baumhart Center’s mission as an innovative leader in creating a more diverse and socially responsible climate in the business world.
