Marcus has been a private equity and venture investor for over 20 years. He's a Senior Advisor with CIVC Partners, a $1.5b AUM private equity firm focused on change of control transactions in the business services segment. He was formerly a co-Managing Partner and led dozens of acquisitions and served on many portfolio company boards. He is also a Senior Advisor with Reason Venture Partners, a partnership that invests in food and beverage and software for IOT devices. Recently Marcus completed a fellowship at Stanford University's Distinguished Careers Institute where he concentrated his studies in climate tech and policy. He is a graduate of UCLA and Harvard Business School.
