Director, Brunswick Group

Monica Gupta is a Director at Brunswick Group, an advisory firm specializing in helping the world’s leading companies navigate the critical issues they face and engage with their stakeholders. With a background in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and investor relations, Monica helps clients build, operationalize, and amplify programs and initiatives at the intersection of business and society. 

Monica joined Brunswick after serving as a Principal at sr4 Partners specializing in DEI, learning and development, and change management. During her time at sr4 Partners, Monica built and deployed a framework to help organizations embed DEI into their culture and operations.

Prior to joining sr4, Monica was the director of investor relations at W.W. Grainger, Inc. (NYSE: GWW). Before joining Grainger, she was an assistant vice president at Alpha IR Group where she provided investor relations and crises communications support to the C-suite of small-cap companies.

Monica is passionate about helping companies create a work environment where everyone can thrive. During her time at Grainger, she was named President of the Women’s Business Resource Group (WBRG) by Grainger’s executive leadership team. In her role as WBRG president, Monica helped rebuild the WBRG strategy around purpose and impact and facilitated a two-day women’s summit with 150 top leaders.

 Monica has lived and worked in Italy and studied in Spain and India. She holds a corporate master in international business engineering from Leonardo S.p.A. She also holds an MBA and BBA from Loyola University Chicago. Monica enjoys giving back to her community by serving as a mentor and coach. She spent two years serving as a coach to community college students through One Million Degrees and has mentored and coached several individuals throughout her professional career. She lives in Riverwoods, Illinois, with her partner Kevin Spriggel and their two children, Rohan and Sana.
