Rich Johnson

Founder of Ignite and Principal at sr4 Partners

Rich Johnson is a leadership and organizational coach who helps leaders and teams achieve greater personal and collective impact. With more than two decades of experience starting, leading and advising entrepreneurial organizations, Rich focuses on cultivating leaders with the competence and character for today’s changing world.

As a principal at sr4 Partners, Rich works with companies to build healthy leaders, cohesive teams, thriving cultures and manage inclusive change.   As cofounder of Ignite, Rich created a cutting edge peer learning community with weekly leadership training experiences and a dynamic network of members and coaches. Rich oversees the leadership curriculum and instructional design, training and facilitation and cultivation of coaching talent. Prior to Ignite, Rich co-founded Spark Ventures, an international development organization providing strategy and financial capital to social impact partners in Africa and Latin America. Rich’s work in the area of diversity, equity and inclusion began in higher education more than 15 years ago and currently he co-leads DEI engagements for several high growth technology companies.

Rich holds a BA in Communications and an MA in Cultural Studies from Trinity International University and has studied Corporate Strategy at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. When he isn’t engaged in a leadership initiative, you can find him running, reading or hanging out with his two adopted dogs, Z and Kia.
