Teri Argos

Teri is the Chief Development Officer at Instituto del Progreso Latino, a community service, workforce development agency in Chicago, IL.

She consistently delivers results by aligning organizational initiatives and goals with substantial improvements to service, standardization and performance. With a focus on strategic solutions analysis to further goals, Teri propels cost accounting improvements that bring new perspectives to the success of nonprofit management practices and capital expenditures.
Teri has been an active volunteer for the Taproot Foundation since 2005, and completes a minimum of three projects yearly. Currently she is a participant in Bridgespan’ s Chicago cohort of “Leading for Impact” a two year program for senior executives and at “Leading for Good” a yearlong program sponsored by Loyola University for development professionals.
Ms. Argos attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a professional certificate in Institutional Development from UCLA School of Public Policy. She has been a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals since 2006, and is active in the philanthropic communities of Chicago and Los Angeles, where she serves on two Boards of Directors.
