Tayo Hill

Tayo Hill is the Director of Culture and Operations at The Nature Conservancy Illinois. She is most excited about collaborating with the team to drive the organization’s mission. With a diverse background spanning agency, corporate, and nonprofit sectors, Tayo integrates communications, finance, operations, and administrative management to drive organizational efficiency, innovation, and stakeholder engagement. She thrives on connecting the dots through collaboration, strategic planning, and relationship management, and is passionate about creating sustainable strategies with a social impact.

In her most recent role, Tayo was the Senior Director of Strategic Communications & Operations at Chicago Debates. Chicago Debates is a non-profit organization whose mission is to advance the educational achievement, community contributions, and life success of Chicago's youth through the transformative power of academic debate. She oversaw all aspects of Chicago Debates’ internal and external operations and communications efforts to increase organizational efficiency, awareness, visibility, and engagement with external partners.

With several years of experience in both corporate and nonprofit communications, Tayo enjoys leveraging the skills she’s developed to identify opportunities and resources to invest in underserved communities. She is a member, and actively involved, in several community and service-based organizations.

Tayo is a University of Michigan – Dearborn graduate with a degree in Communications – Public Relations and Corporate Communications and a minor in Psychology. She is currently a Baumhart Scholar at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business, where she received a Baumhart Certificate for ESG and is pursuing a social impact MBA that examines the intersection of profit and purpose. Her concentration is ESG and management.

She enjoys music, reading, movies, and traveling with her family in her free time.
