Robert Croll

Adjunct Instructor


Rob Croll is a multimedia artist, writer, and educator. He has exhibited and performed in a variety of local and international venues and has recently attended residencies in Italy, Germany, and the United States; he is currently an artist in residence at the Chicago Artists Coalition. Croll holds a BA from Amherst College and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he was awarded the James Weinstein Memorial Fellowship for photography. 


Alongside his artistic practice, Croll has worked extensively as a translator and editor, with a focus on contemporary Latin American literature. His translations have been featured in such places as Latin American Literature Today, Asymptote, The Paris Review, Circumference Magazine, Literary Hub, and Granta.
