ALPHA SIGMA NU INDUCTION CEREMONY
Congratulations to the 2025 Inductees
An important part of any learner’s life is growing–growing in scholarship, growing in community, and growing in collegiality.
Loyola University Chicago offers a wide variety of organizations that allow students to flourish throughout their academic careers. One of the most prestigious and honorable organizations that select Loyola students have the opportunity to join is Alpha Sigma Nu, the honor society of Jesuit institutions of higher education. The society was founded in 1915 to honor a select number of students each year on the basis of scholarship, loyalty, and service. Alpha Sigma Nu is unique among honor societies in that it seeks to identify the most promising students in Jesuit schools. Inductees demonstrate an intelligent appreciation of and commitment to the ideals - intellectual, social, moral, and religious - of Jesuit higher education. Selection is one of the highest honors that can be given on a Jesuit campus.
Only 5% of students are inducted, making ASN the highest honor across all disciplines at Jesuit institutions. Worldwide members are approaching 100,000, meaning you have an outstanding network to utilize. ASN enhances Jesuit education experiences via recognition, programming, and connecting members. Membership is for life with only a small, one-time fee. Click for Benefits of Membership
Alpha Sigma Nu is the international honor society of Jesuit institutions of higher education.
Juniors, seniors, graduate, professional, and adult students who are in the top 15% of their class academically are considered for membership. Prospective members are nominated by their school's academic dean's office and invited to apply for membership consideration.
This year, Alpha Sigma Nu inducted 11 School of Education students who have demonstrated a tremendous commitment to their academic success and to service to the community. The School of Education is proud to congratulate:
