About

Christina Mifsud studied at the John Felice Rome Center in Fall Semester of 1991. She completed a BA in Art History at Santa Clara University and in 1995 returned to Italy for an MA in Italian Renaissance Studies with Syracuse University. She was awarded a teaching assistantship that began her career instructing on-site in museums, churches, and cultural sites throughout Italy. She has made her home in Florence and is an authorized tour guide for Italy and an accredited guide for the Vatican. She has toured with notables such as the late Senator Edward (Ted) Kennedy and several members of the Kennedy family, Democratic Minority Leader Senator Chuck Schumer, and journalist Tom Brokaw. She commutes to Rome to teach Baroque Art, her favorite on-site course when she was a student herself.
