About

Dr. Johnson earned his PhD in 2005 from the University of Michigan’s Center for the Study of Higher and Post-Secondary Education and earned his MEd from Loyola. Over the course of his career, Dr. Johnson has served in the areas of student affairs, academic affairs, and instructor. He is published and has presented both scholarly and applied work at a range of national conferences. He has served on the board of the National Association for Advisors for the Health Professions at the national and regional levels. He serves as chair of the university’s Pre-Health Professions Advisory Committee. In his capacity as a part-time faculty member at Loyola, Dr. Johnson was elected as the faculty representative of a three-person university delegation sent to El Salvador in summer 2014 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the UCA martyrs and their lives.
