2025 Holiday Spirit Contest

As a Part of the University Christmas Reception, University Staff Council and HR invite you to fill our spaces with cheer through a decorating contest!  

Entry Rules: Participants can select a door (or nearby walls/windows if you do not have a door) within their unit or space to decorate with festive, fun, and spirit-filled creativity! You pick the theme, supplies are up to you - think Loyola, think festive, have fun!  

How to Win: University Christmas Reception guests will vote for their favorite entry. All entries will be compiled into a form. Guests will be given a QR code at the reception to vote on which submission is their favorite. Guests will not be able to vote for their own department submission to ensure there are equal chances for departments of all sizes. The submission with the most votes wins! The winning submission will be awarded a $200 Giordano’s Gift Card towards a Pizza Party in the new year, and an announcement will be made of who the winner is in late December or early January. 

How to Participate: Complete the Holiday Spirit Contest: Door Decorating form, which includes your office information AND a picture of your finished door/office decoration. The form should only be submitted once your door/office decoration is complete. Teams may be an office or a group of staff and faculty friends. Multiple members of the same office cannot submit the same door/office decoration – only one will be chosen as an entry.
