University Marketing and Communication


UMC's Content team supports the mission of Loyola University Chicago through storytelling — personal, moving, and inspired stories underscoring Loyola’s values and singularity. The Content team aims to engage, inform, and entertain a broad external audience by telling stories that will appeal to people from all walks of life and strengthen ties to the University.

We produce written content, videos, and photo essays for distribution in print and online channels. Our best stories carry strong visual elements, feature an obvious hook to capture audience interest, and serve to elevate Loyola’s reputation.

Our stories often focus on students, faculty, staff, or alumni — or all of the above — and are always intended to spark interest and spur imagination, helping to familiarize viewers with the rich, diverse, and vital Loyola brand.
