Assistant Professor of Latin American History, Department of History, The College of Wooster, 2002-present Currently teach the History of Colonial and Modern Latin America, Introduction to Historical Investigation on topics such as Latin American Popular Culture and Inter-American Relations, and a First-Year Seminar in Critical Inquiry on the History of Tourism. Direct senior and junior thesis projects (called I.S. or Independent Study), and act as academic advisor to these students. Serve as History Department Liaison to the Admissions Office, as Faculty Advisor to the student group Pueblo de esperanza, and as an elected faculty member of Committee on Committees.
Visiting Instructor of Mexican History, Department of History, Michigan State University, 2001-2002 Taught the History of Modern Mexico, History of Colonial and Modern Latin America, and a Senior Colloquium on Race in Latin America.
