Ramona Burress, native Chicagoan, is a product of Chicago Public Schools, mother of three, a clinical pharmacist and a transformational leader. Ramona works as a vaccines and infectious disease scientist for Johnson & Johnson; emphasizing clinical trial diversity for patients diagnosed with cancer, HIV and other health conditions. Her experience as a healthcare provider and breast cancer patient offers a unique perspective to her health equity advocacy efforts. Very active in the community, Ramona also serves as a CPS Local School Council Chair of Kenwood Academy and maintains Board positions with Leaders of Literacy, Personal PAC and Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center.
