Vickie Henson is an Executive Communications Strategist with more than 20 years experience in corporate organizational communications. A proven leader, Vickie has driven key initiatives for Maritz Learning, Dale Carnegie Training and SSM Health St. Louis, including enterprise employee engagement, leadership development training and talent management. In 2020, she launched her own practice, Second Thought Communications, helping clients implement creative solutions that align with business priorities and improve stakeholder engagement.

Vickie’s international experience is exhibited through her strong cultural competence and ability to build bridges across teams. She is also passionate about service and community engagement, serving as Teen Chair at Jack and Jill of America Foundation (2006-2011), Global Day of Giving Organizer at Dale Carnegie Training (2016-2017) and Cultural Advisor of Diversity and Inclusion at SSM Health (2018-2020). She is currently a Commissioner at Missouri Historical Society and classroom attendance volunteer at Patrick Henry Elementary School, St. Louis, MO. Vickie graduated from Loyola University of Chicago with a bachelor’s in Organizational Communications.
