The Loyola University Chicago community joins the family of Sean R. Barrett in mourning his death. He passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness.

A sophomore in the Institute of Environmental Sustainability, Sean loved nature and was very involved with Hillel. He will truly be missed by his peers and instructors, who say he had a gentle spirit and a strong work ethic.

Memorial services will be held out of state. The Loyola community is invited to sign the online guestbook.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to the University in honor of Sean Barrett: Loyola University Chicago--Gift Processing, Department 4336, Carol Stream, IL 60122-4336. Contributions can also be made online or by phone at 800.424.1513.
