IRJ Research Showcase and Team Celebration
The full IRJ team gathered in April to learn about the team's key research findings with community partners and to celebrate the work of the academic year. Professor Twyla Blackmond Larnell shared remarks on the upcoming State of Black Chicago report. Additionally, Postdoctoral Fellow Kwabena Krah and Postdoctoral Fellow Farzaneh Khayat each presented on their current racial justice research projects. The projects they presented on were:
- "Drinking challenges in predominantly minority occupied communities in the US” and Justice40 (Postdoctoral Fellow Kwabena Krah)
- "Promoting tree equity in Chicago." (Postdoctoral Fellow Farzaneh Khayat)
