Faculty Affiliates
The Institute for Racial Justice is excited to welcome our inaugural Faculty Affiliate cohort. It's an honor to have such a distinguished group of LUC faculty dedicated to advancing racial justice through rigorous research and educational programming in Chicago and beyond.
Through our initiative, IRJ aims to:
- Foster a sense of belonging and interdisciplinary community across LUC.
- Leverage LUC’s research rigor in service of racial justice, exemplified among IRJ faculty affiliates dedicated to community-engaged endeavors and partnerships.
- Contribute to LUC faculty development and retention through innovative, inclusive programming and professional development opportunities.
Over the next year, we'll introduce various research initiatives, events, and programs to advance these goals. A Faculty Affiliate’s active participation is key to the success of the Faculty Affiliate program and the mission and vision of IRJ. We encourage our faculty affiliates to connect and collaborate with fellow affiliates, participate in and lead IRJ opportunities and projects, and share your knowledge and resources with others.
