Jonathan M. Cesaretti

About

Jon Cesaretti is a Tax Principal at Crowe LLP, where he leads the firm’s Chicago office State and Local Tax Group.  Jon focuses on state and local income tax, including all aspects of planning, audit/controversy resolution and mergers and acquisition for a wide variety of clients, including technology companies, service providers, manufacturers, distributors, banks, investment partnerships, hedge funds, insurance companies and high net wealth individuals.

Jon also has significant experience negotiating economic incentive arrangements with state and local governments.

Jon earned his undergraduate degree at Columbia University and his law degree at Loyola; at the latter he was Lead Articles Editor of the Consumer Law Reporter. He has his LLM in taxation from DePaul College of Law. Jon is a frequent speaker and author on state and local tax topics.
