About

Jacob is an Assistant Attorney General with the Consumer Fraud Bureau at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General where he investigates all manner of consumer fraud including auto fraud, home repair fraud, immigration services fraud, and pyramid schemes. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office, Jacob worked for Illinois Legal Aid Online as a volunteer coordinator,  and at a plaintiff’s side employment law firm where he handled unemployment benefits, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour claims. During law school, Jacob earned a certificate in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution and, through that program, volunteered as a mediator in the Cook County Court system.  Before attending law school, Jacob taught Spanish and coached tennis in the New York City public school system.
