Matthew Hiltibran
Adjunct Professor of Law
Matthew Hiltibran is an attorney who has worked with children and families in both legal and non-legal settings. He is currently Senior Legal Counsel in the Cook County Bureau of Technology. He previously served as an assistant Cook County Public Defender where he represented parents in child protection cases. Prior to his work at the County, Matt worked at LAF (now Legal Aid Chicago), representing youth in care in special education and school discipline cases, and also managing the Juvenile Expungement Help Desk at Cook County Juvenile Court. Before law school, Matt worked as a foster care case manager in Chicago, IL.
Matt graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he was a senior editor of the Penn Law Journal of Law and Social Change.
