About

Gregory Leighton is an partner with the law firm of Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg, where he is engaged in all areas of intellectual property law, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secrets.

Greg received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago School of Law with a certificate in International and Comparative Law in 2006. During Law School, Greg was a member of the Loyola Law Journal and served as Executive Editor of Publication from 2005-2006. Greg was also a Chicago Intellectual Property Colloquium Fellow from 2004-2005.

Greg received a BS in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in 2003. While at Northwestern, Greg conducted research in The Shea Lab for Cellular and Tissue Engineering. Additionally, Greg was a co-op engineer at Kraft Foods where he worked on various projects involving food chemistry such as an assessment of functional dairy proteins in food applications.
