Marie Silver

Marie Silver, JD, is an attorney with the Holistic Immigration Hub. Marie has 12 years of experience representing immigrants, the last 10 of which she spent at the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) representing unaccompanied immigrant children and youth, Marie has extensive experience practicing before the immigration courts and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and an equally extensive professional network. As a Managing Attorney at NIJC, Marie helped the organization navigate the rapidly evolving immigration landscape and oversaw a wide range of legal professionals from attorneys to paralegals to fellows. Prior to NIJC, Marie served as a legal intern and Child Advocate with the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights, in addition to serving as legal intern for the Centro de Derechos Humanos Fray Bartolomé de las Casas in Chiapas, Mexico. Marie also worked as a student and volunteer in the DePaul Asylum and Immigration Law Clinic. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and DePaul's Law School.
