Patricia H. Lee Named Inaugural Rodin Associate Dean for Experiential Learning

The School of Law is pleased to announce that Professor Patricia H. Lee is the inaugural Curt and Linda Rodin Associate Dean for Experiential Learning.

Professor Lee joined Loyola University Chicago School of Law in summer 2019. During that time, she served as the Randy L. and Melvin Berlin Clinical Professor of Law, as well as director of the Center for Business Law/Clinic and Institute for Investor Protection. Professor Lee teaches several business law and clinical/experiential courses, serves on various law school committees, and previously served on the University’s Faculty Council and University Senate.

Before Loyola, Professor Lee was a member of the faculty and director of clinical programs at several law schools, focusing on entrepreneurship, intellectual property, community economic growth, and transactional law. Prior to her academic career, she served as in-house corporate counsel and staff director at McDonald’s Corporation. She has received numerous awards related to entrepreneurship and community service.

As the Rodin Associate Dean for Experiential Learning, Professor Lee will employ her extensive leadership background in experiential learning to elevate a hallmark of the Loyola experience—experiential education—expanding opportunities for students to gain vital hands-on experience while advancing the University’s deep commitment to social justice and enhancing Loyola Law’s national reputation as a leader and innovator in experiential education.
