Creating Inclusive Online Learning Communities

Creating a sense of community and a feeling of belonging is a key concern in online learning environments; done well, these lead to greater student learning and success. However, creating online learning communities that benefit all students requires adopting specific inclusive teaching practices. In this session, we’ll review the current literature on creating inclusive learning environments in the online space and have some time to plan implementation in our specific courses.
