Exit Loan Counseling

All borrowers/recipients of the above programs are required to complete an exit loan counseling session online for each program they have borrowed/received funds from, prior to graduating or leaving Loyola. The counseling session provides you with information on repayment, deferment, and cancellation provisions.

Federal Direct Loan Borrowers 

1. Visit StudentLoans.gov
2. Complete the counseling session and print the confirmation page for your records.

Institutional Loan Borrowers 

1. Visit Educational Computer Systems, Inc. (ECSI)
2. Click on "Are you a Borrower"
3. Click on "Login to My Account"
4. Log in using the following information:
   • Loyola School Code: N9
   • Social Security number: Your nine-digit Social Security Number
   • PIN: Provided by ECSI on the exit loan counseling letter from the Bursar's Office.
   The pin can also be obtained by calling (888) 549-3274.
5. Complete the counseling session and print the confirmation page for your records.
