Lynn A. Walter, MA

Administrative Director, Department of Cancer Biology and Oncology Research Institute

The Associate Director for Administration is appointed by and reports to the director of the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center. In this role, Lynn Walter, MA, CRA, provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the cancer center’s administrative infrastructure, supporting its scientific programs, shared resources, clinical research, education, and community outreach initiatives. 

Previously, Lynn served as Administrative Director of Loyola University’s Department of Cancer Biology and Oncology Research Institute.  With over 20 years of experience in academic and research administration, Lynn has been dedicated to supporting the cancer center’s mission by fostering collaboration among investigators, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting and aligning the cancer center’s priorities with national standards.  

Lynn holds a Master of Arts in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh and has maintained certification in research administration.  She brings a deep commitment to advancing our center’s research and education programs, and the translation of science into new treatments and improved patient outcomes.
