WSGS 201: Iberian Identity, Gender & (Im)migration
This course is designed to introduce students to intellectual and socio-cultural frameworks that shape our thoughts about gender identity and sexuality. While in Spain, students will experience guest lectures by local scholars and activists, private film viewings and round table discussions of contemporary Spanish and Catalán films, a one-day visit to a celebrated LGBTI International Film Festival held every year in June in Barcelona.

Graduate Study Abroad Opportunities
Graduate students may participate in study abroad programs in other departments if they count as electives. Study abroad credits can be negotiated between the student and graduate program director.
