The Office of the Dean of Students serves all students through care, advocacy, and empowerment. In the Jesuit spirit of cura personalis, we offer an individualized response when challenges arise and support students’ success as they navigate college and pursue their academic and personal goals.
Among the services offered by the DOS are:
- Coordinated Assistance and Resource Education (CARE) - individualized support for dealing with illness, personal emergencies, or other unexpected difficulties
- Behavioral Concerns Team (BCT) - a network of campus resources coordinated by the DOS to address reports of concerning student behavior
- Equity-Based Discrimination and Misconduct Services (including Title IX) - ensuring a prompt, effective, and thorough response to reports of any type of discrimination or misconduct that is based on one’s protected identities, including gender/sex discrimination that is prohibited by Title IX (encompassing dating violence, stalking, sexual assault, and other gender-based misconduct)
Additionally, the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution (OSCCR) provides conflict resolution and student conduct services under the authority and supervision of the DOS.
