The Theology of Anti-Racism and Cultivating Anti-Racism in the Millennial Classroom

Conducted on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 3:30pm-5:00pm via Zoom 

This seminar focused on strategies and techniques to help cultivate an anti-racist learning environment for today's students. It was also an opportunity to discuss the ways Catholic theology (namely the concept of the Imago Dei) dovetails into anti-racist thinking. 

 

Incorporating Ignatian Pedagogy into a Teaching Statement

Conducted on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 3:30pm-5:00pm via Zoom

This seminar was about what teaching statements are, why teaching statements are important, and how to write them. Many of you may already have teaching statements, and some of you may be in the process of crafting or revising them. In this session, we thought about how and why to incorporate Ignatian Pedagogy into our teaching statements.
