Online Academic Calendar
The online program operates year-round, with three terms per year. Start dates are in September for the fall term, January for the spring term, and May for the summer term. Once the term begins and instructors publish their courses, Sakai is open for students to complete their studies until the specified term end date. Specific dates and deadlines are posted in Sakai each term.

Other Important Dates
The Online Programs team typically holds Education Immersion Weekends (EIWs) twice a year. EIWs offer programming to reinforce learning objectives, provide a venue for networking, and foster communication among students, alumni, and faculty. EIWs are usually held at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Based on current guidance surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we have suspended the requirement to attend Education Immersion Weekends. At this time, EIWs remain recommended but optional.
