Instructional Design Projects

An instructional design project is a structured collaboration between an instructor and an instructional designer to plan, design, or modify a course.

Regardless of focus or scope, here is what you can expect from an instructional design project:

  1. You’ll begin with a conversation to identify your goals, priorities, and timeline.
  2. Then, you’ll work collaboratively with an instructional designer who will provide planning, project management, and design support.
  3. Throughout the process, you will maintain full ownership of your course and final design decisions.
  4. The project will end with a conversation about what worked well and what you might want to adjust in the future.
