Below is a sample schedule for the Summer 2024 Orientation Session.

Check-in for first-year two-day orientations will be from 8:00-10:00 AM in the Damen Student Center. The official orientation program will begin at 10:30 AM in Rooney Hall in the Mundelein Center. 

Optional, Pre-Orientation Programs Include: 

• Financial Aid Drop-in Advising 
• Campus Card Photos 

First-Year Student Orientation Schedule: 

Day 1: 

10:30 AM Welcome Session

Small Group Activities with Orientation Leaders

Lunch in Damen Dining Hall

Educational Sessions from key campus resources

Dinner in Damen Dining Hall

Presentation from Campus Safety

Orientation Leader-led social sessions in the evening

Day 2:

Breakfast in Damen Dining

Educational Sessions from key campus resources

Small Group Activities with Orientation Leaders

Resource Fair with campus resources

Picnic

 

Parent/Guest Orientation Schedule: 

Day 1:

Students and parents/guests will receive detailed schedules at check-in. Students are expected to participate in the full program. Please plan your arrival to, and departure from, campus, accordingly. Sessions for parents and guests are optional.
