Research Interests

I study how social status and relative position within social hierarchies influence our reasoning about the causes of inequality, particularly whether social disparities are attributed to individual or group deficits versus broader structural factors. I’m interested in how and when experiences of marginalization might sharpen our ability to recognize and interpret structural forces and reduce attributional biases.
